Man, I am Ice Cold ! Start writing a blog and go all arctic. What can I say. These things happen. So here’s to redemption and cleaning this up.
Toronto Raptors +7.5 (204) at Orlando Magic -7.5
So Orlando is heading home with a 3-1 advantage looking to end this series. They did rake the first 2 at home and split in Toronto, so it would make sense they close it out tonight. Needing to take both in Toronto, the Raptors could only manage 1 of 2. The Over/Under is 204. Of the first 4 games the over was covered 2 of the 4 times. Both in Orlando in games 1 and 2. After winning the last game on the road, Orlando needs to come out and and shut down Bosh and company. They do that and they advance. If they don’t, Toronto heads home with a chance to force game 7

How about those 76ers !!
I stand corrected. A team with the playoff experience of the Pistons coming out and having such a dismal performance. 23 turnovers from the team that went to the Conference Finals something like 5 years in a row. Defensively, this is mere shell of the tough Detroit Rock City defense from years past. With all that said and done, a win in game 4 and it’s all even with the series headed back to The Palace. Than it becomes a 3 game series with the middle game in Philly. Tough not to go with experience, but we all witnessed what went down in game 3.

Pistons -5.5 Under 180.5
76ers +5.5 Over 180.5
After a split in the motor city we head back to the city of brotherly love for game 3. The game 1 loss set the Pistons straight. Remembering what is was like to lose to the Cavs last year, Detroit comes out strong tonight. The 76ers will be playing at full throttle in front of the home crowd. The Cavs need no less than a split at home if they want to take this series deep. Look for a close game with the Pistons pulling away in the end. PISTONS -5.5 OVER 180.5
Hornets +6.5 Over 197
Dallas -6.5 Under 197
Dallas down 0-2 in need of a win. Paul has been looking amazing. Pretty much making Kidd look like a rookie. I know the Hornets are good, but Dallas needs this. After last years melt down, Dallas wants to get out of the first round. Bot loses for Dallas have been by double digits. Look for them to return the favor, at least in game 3. DALLAS -6.5 OVER 197
SPURS +7 OVER 197
SUNS -7 UNDER
Suns are another team backed onto a corner. The Defending Champion Spurs are looking to pull the plug on the Sun life line. The Suns need to get back to the running style of offense that got them here. Playing some defense helps as well. Look what Washington did to Lebron. That’s the type of effort the Suns need to make this a series again. SUNS -7 OVER 197
Parlay Plays
3 game parlay (line)
Pistons and the Points, Dallas and the points, Suns and the points
6 game parlay
piston and the over, Dallas and the over, Suns and the over
Now I am not 100% with the Dallas and the Pistons over. So I might run that
6 game/action parlay and cover my investment with a hedge on the under of the Dallas game and the under on the Pistons game. So it would be the same 3 teams with the point line, the Suns over with the Dallas and Pistons under.

March Madness presents a unique opportunity to approach sports investing the way that many professionals do, whether in the capital markets or betting the lines.
Follow me here – you put ten bucks into an office pool for the 2008 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, 100 people are in for a $1000 pot. You had Memphis beating Georgetown in the final, and if the Tigers win you get $700 but if Kansas wins you get nothing. Most people accept this and will simply cheer like hell while watching their winnings go to ZERO when the Jayhawks hit a three at the buzzer.
But your Monday night does not have to go down like that. You can guarantee huge profits by hedging.
Given the above scenario, log on to your favorite sportsbook and put $300 on Kansas to win (+105). Run the numbers – you just guaranteed yourself at least $630 in your pocket with $310 at risk!
Either way you bring home big bank by hedging your bet on Memphis – because of your intellect or good fortune, do not give free money away when in office pools! Use the sportsbooks to lock in winnings!
