So when I bet on the Rockets, those Blazers cover. But when I bet on the Blazers, the Rockets cover.  It worked out 1 of 4 times in this first round.  The Cavs have been easy money in their sweep of Detroit. Covering the spread (and winning by double digits) all 4 of their games with the Pistons.

This series is wacked.  The margin of victory has been double digits in every game. Who shows up tonight?  We know the Hawks are a good home team and crap on the road. But down 2-1 , does that motivate them ?  D Wade and company rolled last game and are looking to head back to Hot-lanta up 3-1.  Will the Hawks be able to stop the Heats offensive attack ?  No they won’t , so I am going with the over in the one.  This could be the first close game of the series, or another  double digit blow out.  Who knows ?  But i do like the total goinng noth of the 180’s.

The Hornets played much better last game at home than the first 2 on the road.  look for them to get this series even after the confidence building game 3. Lost big twice in Denver and managed to hold on for the 2 point  win last out.  I think with the newfound life the Hornets even this up before they make the trip back to Denver.  CP got flustered up in the mile high city , but did much better down at sea level in N.O.  Look for the Home teams to continue to roll.

Well this series is all but over. Lake Show gets a win at home and they join the Cavs in Round 2.  the Jazz haven’t played well in L.A.  They strike me as a proud team, and I think they keep this close. The Lakers usually are bad with these types of spreads (historically they are pretty rough when 12 point favs).  i think the Jazz keep it to single digits.  It’s pretty  much the last game of the season for the Jazz so what do you have to lose.  Down 3-1 to the Lakers, it’s not like Kobe is gonna shoot 4-21 three games in a row…….   wouldn’t really load up on this one, but I like the Jazz to cover

Well who woulda thunk it, my parlay came through.  I had a feeling the Cavs were going to take care of biz. And those f*%kin Blazers. I was screaming at my flat screen when they were down double digits. Still wonder what the hell Blake was shooting with 12 seconds left. I am kinda glad they didn’t goto over time because I had the under in a side bet.  The under and a cover, 3rd time is a charm! And how about the Sixers winning at home. Up 2-1 in the series with game 4 tomorrow……. Will the Magic be a bust …. AGAIN??

I think the Hornets have to win this one.  I don’t know if they will, but it should at least be a close game. Paul has had tight defense played against him in the first 2 games. It was clear he was getting all jammed up and not able to work his magic. At home, he has to play better.  I wouldn’t touch this game, but possibly the under.  I kind of think this is going to end like the Blazer game. The visitors will keep it close, but don’t think they will win. But who cares if they win as long as they cover.

I think the MAVS roll !!! Again.  The Spurs just aren’t that good. They are old and banged up. The Mavs are tough at home and should continue were they left off last game.  The Mavs “D” shut down the struggling offense of the SPURS.  Parker just doesn’t have a supporting cast he once had. Big TIMMY is hurting. Knees are in bad shape.  He just isn’t what he used to be.  And did I mention Dallas is playing well and are tough at home ?? I look for the Mavs to win by double digits again.

Again, another game I wouldn’t touch. I like the over but couldn’t tell you what is going on in the series.  Miami shot well in game 2. D Wade was money from behing the arc, with Cook even better.  I think these teams put up some points today. The Hawks aren’t the best defensive team on the road, so I expect them allow alot of points as well as put up a bunch.  I really think it will b a close game, 4 seems a little much. I think it gets decided in the last 3.4 seconds…….. on a deep 3 pointer with the shot clock going down.  But that is just my opinion.

THE LAKERS win by 15 !!!  After Kobe shot a piss poor 4-21 in game 3, expect him to come out guns blazing !! We all know he doesn’t like to lose but that was a horrible outing by what the laker faithful refer to as MVP.  Not the way he played last game.  Deron is good, but he is all they got.  Even with the hobbled OKUR returning to the line up, it’s just to little to late.

So pretty much, aside from the Blazers the pick of the days’ have been going well. Parlays are still shitty, but can’t win em all.   Looking back on the Miami @ Atlanta game, I should have figured D Wade would be back in game 2. But I had more confidence in Atlanta and their home game. And of course, the looming feeling that if I bet the Heat they would treat me like the red headed stepchild Blazers!  It was close but we managed to pull out 2 games last night.  With the proper money management  we will do just fine.

This series is a toss up. It is very difficult to say with any confidence how this might turn out. The young inexperienced Bulls are playing in front of the Home crowd in game 3 of the playoffs. A win tonight would put the Bulls up 2-1 over the number 2 seed Celtics.  This is a huge game for both teams. However, i think it might be a little to big for the Bulls. If the series continues true to form from th first 2 games in Boston, we are in for another great game.  I think this young team might come out flat and lay and egg in this one. Bostton has been there , done that already. Even without KG, they are still seasoned Vets who have been down this road before. The Bulls on the other hand are young and talented. Gorden has been there before, but thats about it. I think Boston controls the game and takes game 3 in Chi town.

This is another game I really wouldn’t touch. You have to like Dallas at home.  The Spurs managed to even the series in Game 2, leaving home with a split.  Dallas is going to look for  the leg up tonight and try to go ahead in the series at home.  The Mavs play well at home.  I don’t really have much desire to bet this one, but if I had to make a move I would take the Mavs givin 5 at home.  They should win by 7 or 8 in my opinion.  I think the reason it’s a 5 point line is because most people see it as a dead wood game. More action is onBos @ Chi and L.A. @ Utah.  But that’s just my opinino.

I like Utah as the Home Dawgs !!  Utah has played the Lakers tough in Salt Lake City. Last year the Jazz took games 3 & 4 on their home court. Look for that to happen again. Well at least game 3.  The Lakers beat them with ease in the first 2 games. But don’t think Utah is going to roll over.   Historically the Lakers have had a bit of trouble  in Utah. No to mention the Jazz are a very good home team.  Tonight is the season for the Jazz. With a loss they go down 3-0. Unless your the Yankees, a 3-0 lead …..  it’s pretty much over.  The over in this is a little higher than it’s been in LA, but it should still get covered.  I think the tempo is going to be a fast pace and that should allow alot of fast break points.  Lookin at the over as well in this one.
