The Players Championship tees off on Thursday without it demi-god who is still nursing his knee. While there will always be drama at the fantastic island green of the 17th, I might have some ways for you to enjoy even more drama with your .
Three of the past four TPC winners led the field in GIR, and two of those champions also led in fairways hit. This course plays super tight so favor the great iron players.
An issue I do not see enough of when predicting golf is the weather, and it is freakin hotter than McDonald’s coffee in Jacksonville/Ponta Vedra this weekend – expect the ectomorphs and fitness enthusiasts like Camillo Villegas and Adam Scott to do better than Phil Mickelson or Chad Campbell. Play Ogilvy at the Wachovia May 4, 2008

If there is one thing I enjoy as much as watching college football, it is watching golf on a lazy Sunday. Occasionally I attempt to enhance the viewing pleasure with a trip to a and bet on said action, and this week I see an great chance to get down on Geoff Ogilvy’s Sunday performance.
Ogilvy has taken his spot among the golfing elite in the last two years (elite is one step below Tiger, a category of one), and today you should be able to get the lanky Aussie at -135 over Stewart Cink +105.
Granted, Cink is as hot as McDonald’s coffee with a blistering 65 yesterday and a win at Harbour Town last week, but do not be tempted by the chance to play Cink at better than even money.
