NFL DDD Alerts: Jaguars +9.5 host Colts, Eagles +11.5 at Broncos

Longtime readers know I dig NFL double digit underdogs and really dig NFLDDD home dogs – here is one of each! All lines quoted at Sportsbook.ag (it means a lot if you would let me refer you there, but they make it a process – hit me on Twitter @vincemullins for details).

Let’s class the place up a bit with Anne Hathaway and no bikinis, eh?

The Jacksonville Jaguars have paid off more than not last couple years so I am stretching my rules to squeak them in this weekend. I am not bothering with the ML, but with the 10 and total set at 42 this should be ugly. But winnable.

Rationale after the jump.

Yes, I am aware that Jags are 0-3 ATS this season, but the first two games were FG spreads against emerging OAK and KC. Jags are bad, but not as bad as last week’s shellacking in Seattle so they are undervalued. JACKSONVILLE is 3-1 against the spread versus INDIANAPOLIS over the last 3 seasons, and I am pretty sure the Colts are overvalued after last weeks win at San Francisco 49ers. And yes, they should sign Tim Tebow.

Now the Philadelphia Eagles are where it gets interesting – Sigmund Bloom at FootballGuys.com thinks this will be the fantasy game of the decade and I cannot agree more. But I am intrigued enough by the Eagles to not only grab the +11.5, but also nibble at the +480 ML! With the 60 total and the Eagle offense, I don’t see Denver as that dominant to win 34-20. I am weighting the Huss Hedge 3:1 since the ML pays so handsomely.
